Those who knew Daniel knew unbounded compassion, love, generosity, and steadfast humor. He had the gift of an entrepreneurial mind and an adventurous spirit, and he nurtured a deep passion for dirt bikes, car restoration, trips to Rockport, Texas, driveway firework shows, and Coca-Cola. From this special combination issued forth an endless rotation of creative projects-from biodiesel adventures to snow cone businesses. And these inspired numerous friendships and colorful stories that, with Daniel telling them, brought abundant amusement and deep joy to his family and friends.
Daniel was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Daniel-our finder of the golden camel, solver of the Rubik's Professor's Cube-you were our rock and you were our joy, and your legacy will never be forgotten. Your spirit has indeed made this world a better place to be. We love you and we will miss you to no end.
A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28th, at Beck Funeral Home in Round Rock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 29th, at First United Methodist Church, Round Rock, Texas, with Rev. David Adkins of FUMC Round Rock officiating. A private burial service will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to CASA of Travis County or a charity of your choice.
