Jesse Damon Stafford, 87, of Radford after a long illness passed away on September 1, 2013 at his residence. He loved and lived his life to the fullest but his true passion was farming. Jesse was a member of Belmont Christian Church for 65 years. He was a long time member of the Ruritan Club and Belmont Community Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Thompson Stafford and his parents, Robert & Bertha Stafford.
He was survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special care-giver. He was also survived by what he considered an honorary brother and his family.
The family received friends at Horne Funeral Home on Thursday Sept. 5, 2013 from 5-8 PM.
The Funeral was held Friday Sept. 6, 2013 at 11 AM at Belmont Christian Church in Christiansburg. Interment followed in the Belmont Community Cemetery.
