She was born January 1, 1921 in Holly Grove, AK, a daughter of the late Renzy and Maizie Gale Garner Chastain.
Along with her husband, she was the founder and co-owner of Strouth Trucking which later became D&D Trucking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Strouth and a grandson Alex Landrum.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM in Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM prior to the service.
Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
