Susan M. Walls, 60, Palen, Texas, formerly of Hollidaysburg, died Aug. 13, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late George Elwood and Elda (Fischer) Walls.

Surviving are a son, Glenn M. and wife, Kim, and their daughter, Serenity, all of Allen, Texas; four brothers: Nicholas W., James R. and wife, Ruthie, Norman and wife, Ruth, and Michael H. and wife, Nancy; and two sisters: Marybelle and Judy.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and George E. Jr.; and a sister, Helen.

Susan was a 1970 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School. She had worked for two manufacturing companies over a 40-year period, 20 years with Proctor Silex and 20 years with Carol Cable. She was a member of Prairie Creek Baptist Church in Texas, and she enjoyed crocheting, hunting and fishing.

A memorial service was held in Texas on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013. Inurnment will be made in Riverview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
