Eula Shubert Robertson, 89, of Alto, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at a private nursing facility, following an extended illness.
Born in Habersham County on August 24, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Etter Wade Shubert. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Shubert Robertson; and brother, William "Bill" Shubert. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Survivors include a son, Reece Grier, Alto; daughter, Myrette Stringer, Nacogdoches, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 11, at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating.
McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, was in charge of arrangements.
