Violet fought a good battle with cancer and now rests in heaven. She raised seven children in Taft and willingly helped many others. She loved to bake and spent time with her grandchildren. Violet was preceded in death by three sons and one grandson, John Raymond Taylor, Paul Douglas, Donald Mahalon Taylor and Little John Raymond Taylor. Violet is survived by four daughters and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Graveside services Monday, Feb. 4th at West Side Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be accepted at Mercy Hospice Mt. Shasta, 914 Pine St., Mt. Shasta, CA, 96067. In memory of Violet Taylor.
