Sarah "Sally" Frazier, 74, of Amarillo died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.

Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Scott officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Sarah was born March 4, 1939 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Thomas and Elizabeth McGeough.

She met her husband, Charles Frazier, in California, where they were married in 1964. They resided in Germany, Hawaii, Kansas and Washington while he served in the Army. Both were archers and European champions. After retiring from military in 1975, they resided in Amarillo to be with Charles' family.

She worked at Tascosa High School in the cafeteria and had managed the deli at Ross Rogers Golf Course the past 15 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and a Grief Share facilitator at Hillside Christian Church.

Sarah enjoyed reading books, blooming flowers in her garden, drinking hot tea and loving on Biscuit, her Jack Russell terrier. Sarah brought joy to all of us by telling Irish jokes and creating a lovely, jovial Irish environment for everyone she touched. Her beautiful smile would touch everyone, and was always about traveling home to Ireland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frazier.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Gray and husband Todd of Amarillo; three sisters, Margaret Tolan and Philomena McKnight, both of Belfast, and Mannix Ryan of Newport, Ireland.

Irish blessing: May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Harrington Cancer Center and BSA Hospice, in care of Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Foundation, 1600 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
