In 1903, he was united in marriage to Lillie Barr. They moved to Easton 22 years ago. He became a member of the Methodist church in Easton, He was a good citizen and faithful to his responsibilities. He is survived by his bereaved wife, on son, Paul of Watseka, Ill., and two grandsons, Rodie and Donald.
Memorial services in his memory were conducted from the Methodist church in Easton on Monday, March 25, 1940, at 2 p.m., in charge of Rev. James J. Gross. Three sacred songs were rendered during the services by Mrs. Gertrude Ryno and George Bloem, accompanied by Mrs. George Bloem at the piano.
The Casket-bearers were, J. H. Heberling, Rolla Vanettan, James Lowers, Luther Jones, Frank Furrer and Harold Walters.
The floral offerings were cared for by Margaret Skaggs, Waneta Jones, Dora Mae Bubert, Minnie Vanetten, La Nora Mae Davis and Evelyn Vanetten.
Interment was made in Laurel Hill cemetery with Niederer Memorial Services in charge.
