Jody was born on November 2, 1972 in Sacramento, CA and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 24, 2013. Jody is the loving daughter of Janet Andersen of West Sacramento, and James and Cyndi Thompson of West Sacramento. She attended River City High School and graduated in 1990. She then went on to earn a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Jody is survived by her parents, Janet Andersen, and Jim and Cyndi Thompson; her sisters, Jamie (Thompson) Drever, and Leslee Thompson; her niece, Janna Toste; and her nephew James Toste as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who loved her very much. Jody had an indomitable spirit and a zest for life. She positively touched the lives of all those who crossed her path. Her family would like to thank the Sutter Cancer Center, and Yolo County Hospice for their kindness and friendships. Jody will be missed tremendously by all that knew her.
