Born in Russellville, Arkansas to Ivor W. and Genevieve Fitzgerald Duncan. Raised in Rains, Utah, where he met and married LaRue Berry on November 25, 1939. On November 25, 2002 they celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Lindsey worked as a coal miner for 12 years in Carbon County and later for 16 years as a wheelman for Kennecott Copper. He served in the C.C.C.s and a short stint in the U.S. Marines. He loved his cars and to tell jokes, his grandchildren will remember him for his sense of humor.

Lindsey was a good dad, good grandfather and a wonderful husband.

He was survived by his wife of 63 years, his daughter Saundra (Ronald) Jack, son David (Susan) Duncan, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children and his cat Kitt. Preceded in death by his son Lindsey Ray Duncan, two sisters, and one brother.

Lindsey was a caring person, he gave over 50 units of blood throughout his life and made the ultimate donation of organs and tissue after his life was complete. Lindsey would ask everyone to donate to life in lieu of flowers.
