Renae P. Smith, of Fountain Hill, formerly of Orefield, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 in Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. She was the wife of the late Paul John Smith, who died in 1963. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson M. and Florence Mae (Levan) Leibenguth. She worked as a waitress for Hoffman Caterers of Allentown, along with various other locations throughout the greater Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring in 1976. She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at the Evangelical Church of the Holy Trinity, Northampton, a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Allentown and a former committee woman for the Republican party, Schnecksville. Survivors: Daughter, Carol Jane, wife of William Kreitz, Bethlehem; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006 in the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067. Calling hour 10-11 a.m. prior to service. Burial will immediately follow services at Fairview Cemetery, Northampton. Contributions: May be made to the church memorial fund or th American Heart Association, both c/o the funeral home.
