ESTRADA, Rose M.
After a long struggle with her illnesses, beloved Rose M. Estrada departed from this life on Friday, August 23 where pain can reach her no more.
Born in Calexico, CA in 1949, she graduated from Rosemead High School in Rosemead, California. After graduation, she attended business school and became a technical coordinator for NBC in Burbank, CA.
Rose moved to Sacramento in 1973 and became a job developer for the Washington Neighborhood Center. She was then employed by the UCD Medical Center as a medical interpreter until due to illness she had to retire.
Rose loved to dance, sing, travel, make enchiladas, ride her motorcycle, care for her dog Snoopy, prepare food baskets for the needy, go camping, make people laugh and have fun.
Rose was always the life of the party.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, brother, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses at the Medical Center for their attentive care.
Friends are welcome to attend a vigil on Friday Sept. 6 at 6:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1333 58th St.
A memorial Mass will be help on Saturday Sept. 7 at 11:00 am at St Mary's Catholic Church. Following the memorial Mass, a private Celebration of Life will be held for family members.
