∼(Important Note: Caroline County was a burned county....there are few existing records with actual dates of birth, baptism, etc.....I have found no documentation authenticating James's date of birth.) Caroline did not become a county until 1728, formed from three other counties) I will post his date of birth if it can be authenticated.

"James Turner came and settled in Bedford County, Virginia at an early period, he was possessed of considerable real estate. In 1761 he made deeds coveying to his children and sons-in-law tracts of land in severalty: his wife, no doubt, had departed life as she did not unite in conveyances. He died in 1793."
