EBERLE, GAYLORD N.
Gaylord N. Eberle passed away on August 29, 2013, after a valiant fight from complications of pneumonia, in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on November 18, 1931 to the late George and Ninona Eberle of Ann Arbor. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Claramon Eberle, and two sisters, Ninona Conzett and Joyce Todd. After 62 years, he is survived by the love of his life, Olive M. (Jones) Eberle, whom he married on February 4, 1951. Gaylord is a member of Christ Our King Lutheran Church of Saline, MI, where he was a very active member of "The Men's Group". He retired from the University of Michigan as an Electrician. Previous to that, he had been the Lab Manager for Geiger and Hamme Acoustical Laboratory. Other than his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Susan M. (Timothy) Colvia, Cindy L. (Stephen) Frederick, Julie G. Marschner and fiance, Nathan Ries. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Patrick (Michelle) Colvia, Ryan (Kathy) Colvia, Adam F. Colvia, Joseph (Audrey) Hochgreve, Michelle (Kevin) Baber, Heather Hochgreve, Carolina Anna Tontini, and Jessica Tontini Vargo; as well as nine great-grandchildren, Emily Colvia, Abby Colvia, Paul Dougherty, Diego Rodriguez, Isaiah Rodriguez, Brooklyn Baber, Stella Vargo, Cecilia Vargo and Tristan Hochgreve. Visitation will take place at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S. Fourth Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 on Sunday, September 1, 2013, from 3-7 PM; Monday, September 2, 2013 from 1-4 and 5:30-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Christ Our King Lutheran Church, 3255 Waterworks Rd., Saline, MI 48176 on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 with visitation at 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to "The Men's Group" at Christ Our King Lutheran Church, Saline, MI.
