Denise Barber Kennedy, 54, of Danville, passed away on August 31, 2013 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Born in Danville, on March 20, 1959, she was a daughter of L.B. Barber, Sr. and Gwyneth Hyler Barber, who survives.
Denise worked as a Sales/Marketing Coordinator for Ecolabs/ Kay Chemical Company in Greensboro, NC. She was a member of Vandola Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two sisters, Wendy Dougherty (Jeff) and Paige Davis (Aaron); a brother, Braxton Barber (Shannon); adopted sister, Wanda Shields; nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
