Bertie Bradford Ginzel, 87, wife of the late Fred Ginzel and the late Milton James Bradford, and a resident of Quinby, passed away at Shore LifeCare in Parksley on Monday, Aug. 22, 2005. A native of Deep Creek, she was the daughter of the late William Spencer Smith and the late Ruth Colonna Smith. She was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ginzel is survived by two sons, Milton James Bradford Jr. and his wife Claudia of California, and Richard S. Bradford of Quinby; two sisters, Ruth Powers of Salisbury, Md. and Janie Custis of Nandua; two brothers, Frank Smith of Florida and George Smith of Deep Creek; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Bradford. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m. from the graveside of the Quinby Cemetery with the Rev. Joe McKnight officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., c/o Mary Ann Sprinkle, Director of Development, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136-1494.
