WALNUT COVE - Mr. Paul Samuel Lash, 52, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Baileytown Christian Church in Walnut Cove. Interment will be in the Bailey Family Cemetery. Mr. Lash was a native of Stokes County and a mechanic. He is survived by three brothers, the Rev. Haywood Anderson (Debra), Johnny Anderson (Thresa) and Randy Anderson (Brenda), all of Walnut Cove; two sisters, Lavern Newman of King, Faye Bailey (Charles) of Indiana; stepdaughter Detria Simmons of Walnut Cove; uncle Walter Lash (Dee); aunts Maxine Lash and Laura Lash, all of Walnut Cove; great-aunt Willimena Lash; three stepgrandchildren; and fiancee Vickie Hill of Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home in Madison.
