Sallie is the daughter of James and Mary Heritage. She married John Walker (a widower) on May 31, 1901, in Craighead County, Arkansas. Together they had approximately six children. It is understood from a letter written by John, to Sallie (in 1901), that Sallie's mother did not care for John Walker.
