Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Fryda Sievert, 80, of Fort Atkinson, formerly of the city who died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Agnes Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson.
Pastor Donald Ditter will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson.
Mrs. Sievert was born July 4, 1890, a daughter of August and Marie Wendorff. She was married to George Fryda on April 2, 1911, at Rosendale and he died June 18, 1934. On March 12, 1949, she was married to Walter Sievert.
She was an active member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church while a resident here.
Survivors include her widower; five children, Alfred Fryda of Dixon, ill., Frank and George Fryda and Mrs. Velesca Fleischman all of the city, and Mrs. Gertrude Imig of Whitefish Bay; 24 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Six brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hafmeister Funeral Home Watertown, and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of services.
