Annie Mae Pruitt Hood Raines, 84, of 136 E. Circle Drive, wife of the late John O. "Buck" Raines, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late William Cleveland and Lillie Gunter Pruitt. Mrs. Raines retired from the Palmetto Garment Company and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Johnston and husband, Bud, and Shirley Bailey and husband, Dean, all of Marietta; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a special nephew, Earl Pruitt.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Lucille Buchanan and Mandy Redding.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Coleman Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
The family will be at the home.
