Mrs. Bond died March 3, 1999, in the Sunset Estates Nursing Center. She was born July 31, 1917, north of Geary. Mrs. Bond was a lifetime Canadian County area resident and attended the El Reno Public schools.
Agatha Elizabeth Bannister married Lenoul L. Bond on October 15, 1934 in Kingfisher. She was a homemaker and member of the Highland Baptist Church and the Eagles Aerie Lodge No. 220.
Agatha was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Dixie (Willis) Bannister, two sisters, Virginia Alberta(Bannister)Sinyard and Dorothy Ann(Bannister)Walker and a brother Bruce Bannister.
Survivors include her husband, L.L. Bond of the home, son Lee Bond and wife Frances of El Reno; daughter Nancy Jean Adams and husband, Earl of Lawton; five grandchildren, Bryan Bond, Donna Lynn Ott and husband, Bob, Kay McLearen, Sam Nusz and wife Terri and William Lee Durham; five great-grandchildren, Annie Nusz, Traci McLearen, Chanel Ott, Laci Ott and Chelsea Bond and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Russell-Murray Hospice, P.O. Box 1423, El Reno, Oklahoma.
