September 26, 1891, in Rude,
Denmark. In 1913 he came to the
United States, settling in Kimball,
Nebraska. He later moved to Newell
where he married Christine Christiansen
on December 22, 1917. Their
children are Arnold of Spencer,
Ivan of Sac City and Norma Shull
of Storm Lake.
Marius served in the United
States Army during World War I.
He then farmed around Newell until
his retirement when he moved to
Storm Lake. He was a member of
the American Legion and Danish
Brotherhood. He was a member of
the Nain Lutheran Church in
Newell. He passed away August
17th at the Buena Vista County
Hospital.
