PONTIAC - The Funeral Of Mary A. Burton, 92, of Heritage Manor, Dwight, will be at 11 a.m. today at Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, the Rev. George Russell officiating.
Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Pontiac.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burton died at 3 p.m. Sunday (May 1, 1994) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac.
She was born Feb. 7, 1902, in Eppards Point Township, a daughter of William A. and Addie Russell Wagner. She married Clem Burton in 1928 in Pontiac. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Mildred Kridner, Pontiac; one son, Howard Askew, Joliet; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Burton was a graduate of Pontiac High School and a licensed practical nurse. She was employed at area nursing homes throughout her career.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pontiac.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
