Services At Chenoweth Funeral Chapel Tomorrow at 2 p.m.
The death of Mrs. Sarah M. Browning occurred last night at 10:30 o'clock at the home, 748 Walnut Street. She had been critically ill since she suffered a stroke of paralysis last Sunday.
Mrs. Browning was 89 years old. She was born in Illinois February 23, 1840. She was married to John W. Browning who died August 15, 1922. Three sons survive, Charles P. Browning of the home address; Riley Browning, Ottawa, and Pearl Browning, Hutchinson, who is here. The Browning family moved here 25 years ago from Baldwin.
Mrs. Browning was a member of the Christian church. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Chenoweth funeral chapel at 2 o'clock, with Rev. J. G. Olmsted of the First Christian church in charge. Interment will be in Hope cemetery.
