Daughter of Ezra Burnham and Fanny Worthley.

Married first to Andrew Hood (1835-1907), with whom she had 7 children, the last named Elmer (b. 2/10/1882). I have found no records on Elmer other than his birth certificate.

Sarah was granted a divorce from Andrew on April 28, 1887. Two weeks later, on May 14, 1887, she married Elmer George. She and Elmer had one child, Carroll.

The book "The History of Weare, New Hampshire, 1735-1888" By William Little, published in 1888 gives Sarah & Andrew's youngest child's name (with same birth date as baby Elmer) as Joseph K, and date of death 1883. This book was written before Sarah & Andrew's divorce, so the name may have been changed sometime after the child was born so as not to bring attention to the possibility that he had a different father.
