Son of Edward and Edna. Brother of Margaret L, Viola M, Charles and Mary Lou.

Frederick E. Beyl, 79, of Indianapolis passed away August 30, 2013. Fred was born August 22, 1934 to the late John and Edna Applegate Beyl who preceded him in death.

Fred was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Fred served in the US Navy for four and a half years and US Air force for four years. He worked as a Millwright for Allison Transmission for 17 years. Fred was a member of the American Legion Post 113 for 38 years and the American Racing Pigeon Union. He enjoyed racing pigeons, woodworking, fishing, and making people laugh, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Alma J. Lawson Beyl; five stepchildren and two adopted children; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
