VANCOUVER, Wash., Aug. 4.--(Special.)--Mrs. Etta F. Hance, 72, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.O. Barnes, 1872 Van Houten street, Portland, today. She was born October 19, 1859, in Mt. Sterling, Ia., and moved to Portland in 1907. She is survived by one son, M.U. Hance of Vancouner, and one brother, D.B. Crampton, in Detroit, Mich. Private services will be held in the Portland crematorium Saturday at 2 P.M.
