HARLINGEN, Texas — William (Bill) V. Shockley, Jr., went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the age of 81.
Bill was born on August 27, 1931 in Grant Co., In., to William and Edith Shockley, Sr. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a retired Indiana State Policeman where he served for over 25 years.
After retirement Bill and his wife, Nancy moved to Harlingen, Texas in 1997.
William is survived by his brother-in-law, Rodney (Mary Lue) Hopkins and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Nancy Lynn Hopkins Shockley.
Interment will be held at a later date in Marion, Indiana.
Arrangements are with Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas.
