Kelly Marie Penberthy Sexton, 41, of Columbia died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at University Hospitals and Clinics.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sexton was born April 10, 1959, in Sierra Vista, Ariz., to Larry and Thelma Crites Penberthy.

She married Michael Sexton on Sept. 13, 1976, in Columbia and he survives.

She had worked for Oakland Plaza Lanes for three years, Town and Country Lanes for four years, the University of Missouri Campus Dining facilities for 10 years and U.S. $1.90 dry cleaners for two years.

Other survivors include her parents; two sons, Michael Sexton Jr. and Keith Sexton, both of Columbia; two brothers, Charles Penberthy of Holliday and Jeffery Penberthy of Columbia; a sister, Diane Penberthy of Millersburg; and five grandchildren.
