Betty Morton Housley, age 89 of Friendsville passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She was a long time employee at Friendsville Elementary where she was lovingly known as "Mamaw Betty". She was also an active member of Marble Hill Baptist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Housley; daughter, Jan Davis; grandson, Jason Davis; parents, Roy and Imogene Morton; brothers, Matt, A.J., Charlie and Cletus, and sisters, Edith and Juanita.

She is survived by her children: Jack Housley and wife Janie, Joey Housley and wife Donna, Judy Stinnett and husband Buzz, Tami Housley and fiancé Shane Hall, Angie Vittatoe and husband Jeff; son-in-law, Charles Davis. Betty was blessed with an abundance of grandchildren, great and great, great grandchildren; along with special family, Viva Benson, Ron and Dee Morton and Jackie Dockery, and her beloved dog, Barney.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, August 11th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon with Rev. Jordan Davis and Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Unitia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marble Hill Baptist Church, 419 South Farnum Street, Friendsville, TN 37737.
