Amber N. Stitt, 30, of Edinburgh, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Aug. 16, 1983, to Randy Burton and Patricia Burton, both of Edinburgh. They both survive. She was raised by Jimmy and Denise Owens of Edinburgh.

She was married to Kevin Michael Stitt.

She also is survived by a son, Isiah M. Stitt of Edinburgh; and seven siblings, Charles Allen Denton, Matthew Brady Owens, Jimmy Dale Owens, Miesha Jo Schofner, Lilli Kate Owen and Brittany Jean Owens, all of Edinburgh, and Kiana Colglazier of Seymour.

She was a 2001 graduate of Edinburgh Community High School.

She was a member of Edinburgh Wesleyan Church.

She was employed at Ditech Inc. in Edinburgh.

She enjoyed bingo, poker, walking and music. She was a New England Patriots fan.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Edinburgh First Assembly of God, 904 S. Holland St., with the Rev. Larry Biddle and Pastor Paul Burton officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m today and from noon until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
