Paul Ray Chambers April 10th, 1942 - August 25th, 2013 Paul Ray Chambers, 71, of Bakersfield, CA. died Sunday August 25th after a long battle with cancer and congestive heart failure. He was a man of simple tastes. He loved God, his Family, his Church, and his friends. He is predeceased by his Parents John and Virginia Chambers. Brothers Billy and Kenneth. Sisters Barbara and Sharon Kay. Grandchildren Christian Martinez and Corey Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Chambers, Daughters Debbie Jennings (Mike) and Vickie Wilson, Son Paul Ray Chambers Jr. Grandchildren Amber Martinez, Damon Shank and Jessica Cadena (David) Great-Grandchildren Bradley and Abigail Cadena, Evelyn Shank and Corey Wilson. Brothers Cecil, Roy, Jimmy and Robert. Sisters Dottie and Jeanne and best friend Calvin Dornan. He worked in the farming industry for over 38 years. He loved to work in his garden, fish and be in the outdoors. We will always' cherish our wonderful memories of him. Rest in the arms of Jesus until we meet again. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 30th 2013 at Greenlawn Southwest at 2:00p.m. Viewing will be Thursday Aug. 29th from 5-8 p.m.
