On August 28, 2013 Robert H. Jump Sr., age 96, passed away at Genesis Health Care Center.He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Jump; Devoted father of Robert H. Jump Jr. and wife Rebecca, Donna Kumjian and husband Larry, William M. Jump and Dawn Jump, and loving grandfather of Rebecca, Cynthia, Hilary, Robert, Matthew, Andrew and Jennifer. Mr. Jump was also blessed with great grandchildren Cole, Claire, Gavin and Sophie, and was survived by one sister Mabel Williamson.
Robert served in the U.S. Coast Guard and later, during W.W. II, was recruited by the Navy. He was a member of the USCG Retirees, the AARP, Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge, and a longtime member and supporter of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Visiting will be held on Friday from 11:30 -1:30 pm at John's Lutheran Church Brooklyn where services will be held at 1:30 pm. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 226 Washburn Avenue, Baltimore, Md.. 21225
