Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Stevens Hollingsworth, 74, wife of Frank T. Hollingsworth, who died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. R. Daniels, 3309 River Drive, were held from the home at 11 o'clock Friday Morning, with the Rev. John H. Webb, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
She had lived in Columbia for about 20 years although she was a native of Edgefield. She was a devoted member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving her are her husband, one son, K. W. Hollingsworth of Columbia, one daughter, Mrs. Daniel, three brothers, J. S. Stevens of Greenwood, B. J. Stevens of Thomson, Ga., and P. W. Stevens of Barnwell, three sisters, Mrs. D. S. Stone of Columbia, Mrs. T. S. McCain of McCormick and Mrs. J. L. Culbreath of Plum Branch, two grandchildren, Reginald F. Hollingsworth and Jerry G. Hollingsworth, both of Columbia.
