William D. Sheldon, 73, summer resident of Chaumont, a professor of education and director of the Reading and Language Arts Center, School of Education, Syracuse University, for several years, died Nov. 17 at Genesee Hospital, Rochester.
A memorial service will be held in Syracuse at a later date. Burial will be in North Watertown Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Anthony Funeral Home Chapel Inc., Rochester.
