Edward is survived by his daughters, Edwina Flores and her husband, Bobby, Yvonne Anaya and Stephanie Martínez and her husband, Johnny, grandsons, Patrick Travis, Dominick Anaya and Joseph Martínez, great-granddaughter, Thessaly Travis, brothers and sisters, Ernie, Abe, Savino, Cilo, Cecilia, Esther Marie and Dolores and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Esther, father, Tom Travis, sister, Juanita and brother, L. B.
After graduating from high school, Edward served seven years in the United States Navy and retired from the United States Postal Service after thirty years of service.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the Riverside Memorial Chapel, Albuquerque, NM and a Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Patrick Travis, Dominick Anaya, Joseph Martínez, Lawrence Chávez, Robert Chávez, Louis Sánchez, William Stroud and Mike Trujillo.
