The attached page 241 on line 4, does say, "at Derby, and names the youngest 5 children including Joseph, (Derby England} And the father Samuel born/died in Died 21 Sep 1681 in Derby, England, and his wife Susannah Ridge-Heathcote also born/died in Derby England.

Suggested edit: JOSEPH HEATHCOTE, son of Samuel (2), was b. 30 May 1660 (A:177). He is probably the Joseph who d. in Ba Co. by 1693, since the heirs of that Joseph inherited Heathcote's Cottage, which was later held by William Pickett who m. Joseph's heiress (i.e. daughter). Joseph m. Martha, dau. of Thomas Morgan; she m. as her 2nd husband Nicholas Fitzsimmons. Joseph and Martha were the parents of: (N), dau., m. William Picket; and RUTH, m/ by Jan 1752 LUKE TROTTEN. I believe I have found the misunderstanding as to his father, "In 1684 he administered the estate of his uncle Nathaniel Heathcote (who had died in Maryland in 1682) on behalf of his elder brother Samuel."
