TIMMONSVILLE — Cleo Allan Young, Jr., 76, died Friday September 29, 2006.
Funeral services will be today (Sunday) at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Timmonsville. Interment will follow at Byrd Cemetery.
Mr. Young was born in Timmonsville the son of the late Cleo and Elma Truluck Young. He attended Newberry College. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Timmonsville. Mr. Young was a farmer in the Timmonsville area all of his life, he was also well known as a breeder and trainer of Standardbred race horses.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Beachum Young, Timmonsville; one son, Cleo Allan Tripp Young, III, Timmonsville, one daughter, Pattie Christian (Richard) Greenwood; a brother, Shady Young (Edna), Easley and three grandchildren, Rich, Rhetta and Ty Christian.
