Noah Joshua Carroll, 81, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born in Hilliard, Florida on September 17, 1941 to the late John Joshua Carroll and Nettie Elizabeth Crews Carroll. He was a member of River Road Baptist Church. Noah served in the United States Army National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Louise Smith Carroll, 5-sisters; Elsie (NW) Hodges, Ida (Bokey) Canaday, Mary Jane Paul, Nellie May (Lawrence) Johnson, Lillie Bell (Lawrence) Hartley, and 2-brothers; Dennis (Mary Ann) Carroll and Ander (Jerrie) Carroll.
He is survived by his 3-children; Cynthia "Cindy" Carroll, Ronda (Terry) Oliver, and Noah Jason (Lanaie) Carroll, brother-in-law; Dan Paul, 5-grandchildren and 9-great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at New Life Baptist Church in St. George, Georgia with Rev. James Conner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorialization will be by cremation.

Noah Joshua Carroll, 81, of Hilliard, passed away on
Monday, May 1, 2023. He passed away at his original
homestead in Hilliard where he was born September 17,
1941 to the late John Joshua Carroll and Nettie Elizabeth
Crews Carroll. He was a member of River Road Baptist
Church. Noah served in the United States Army National
Guard.
In his younger years, Noah hauled freight for Gator Freight
Company. He worked for the City of Jacksonville for many years.
He was a talented carpenter who built many houses in western
Nassau County. Noah was a farmer from way back. He knew when
to plant and when to cut and butcher hogs. He was a hog farmer and
a chicken farmer. He once owned several chicken houses for Cargill.
An avid fisherman and hunter, he was always found outside, even in
the most recent years either by his pond, on his golf cart or on the
porch with his wife of 61 years, Louise.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his wife
Louise Smith Carroll; five sisters Elsie (NW) Hodges, Ida Lee
(Bokey) Canaday, Mary Jane Paul, Nellie May (Lawrence) Johnson
and Lillie Bell (Lawrence) Hartley; and two brothers Dennis (Mary
Ann) Carroll and Ander (Jerrie) Carroll.
He is survived by three children Cynthia "Cindy" Carroll, Ronda
(Terry) Oliver and Noah Jason (Lanaie) Carroll; brother-in-law Dan
Paul; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5 prior
to the funeral service at 2 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church in St.
George, Georgia with Rev. James Conner officiating.
