Funeral services for Mr. Thesly H. Albritton, 87 of Downsville, LA, will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Tony Smith and Rev. Interment will be held at Mt. Ararat Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mr. Albritton was born on January 6, 1926, and passed away on August 28, 2013. He was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and dominos. He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty five years, June Albritton, and seven brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his children: Ricky W. Albritton and wife Sandra of Bernice, LA; Janice Albritton Sweitzer of Downsville, LA; six grandchildren: Jesse W. Albritton and wife Jessica, Aerika Albritton, Shay Riser and husband Adam, Devin Sweitzer, Tiffany Sweitzer, and Sheridan Sweitzer; nine great-grandchildren, and siblings: Reba Howington of FL, Dale Albritton of Monroe, LA, Joyce Ray of Dowsnville, LA, Jerry Albritton of Farmerville, LA, and Jimmy Albritton of Delhi, LA, and a host of nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be: Jesse Albritton, Devin Sweitzer, Johnny Guice, Howard Allen, Earl Roberts, Dennis Allen, Adam Riser, and Brendan Cooper.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his domino buddies.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Mt Ararat Baptist Church.
