Eleanor Doris Wright Elliott, 84, of Bridgeport, OH, died June 24 at Belmont Community Hospital in Bellaire, OH. She was born Sept. 12, 1913, at Bellaire to the late Oscar and Minnie King Wright. She was a life-long member of First United Methodist Church of Bridgeport, a charter member of Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Bridgeport American Legion Auxiliary Post 227. She is survived by one son, Phillip W. Elliott of Bridgeport; one daughter, Doris Cornell of St. Marys; one sister, Bernice Zimmerman of Shadyside, OH; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Elliott, in 1957; and one sister, Dorothy Slater Best. Graveside services were held Saturday at St. Marys IOOF Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Adkins officiating.
