Thanks to contributor #47343179;

Myra Alice Carter was born March 24th, 1887 at Gallatin, Missouri. She was married to B. C. Brown, November 23, 1904 and to this couple were born two children, Hazel, who died in infancy and Mildred who is left with a sorrowing father to mourn for a beloved wife and mother, who passed away at her home in Fairfield, Nebraska, September 14th, after a lingering illness which she bore patiently.

The funeral was held at the Glenwood Church on Friday, September 17, Reverend J. H. Bishop officiating.

Among all she ranked always as a woman of culture, refinement and sympathy, a kind neighbor, devoted mother and true friend, and withal a woman of heroic mould in bravely meeting the stern requirements of life.

Card of Thanks -
To the friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us in life's greatest trial, and those who so deftly wove together the beautiful flowers, we tender our sincere thanks.
