Altoona Mirror, Saturday Evening, 17 April 1920:
"Mrs. Mary A. Ling, widow of Henry Ling, died this morning at 4:45 o'clock, at her late home in Frankstown of heart trouble and diseases incident to her age. She was born in Frankstown, May 26, 1842, the daughter of Isaac and Isabelle Hershberger, both deceased. She is survived by a number of nephews and nieces. The funeral will be held from the home on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in the Geeseytown cemetery."
