OBITUARY-
Troy Bradley Jech, 36, of Kasson, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Austin Medical Center of injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.
Troy was born May 23, 1964, at Austin, the son of Raymond and Charlene Jech. He graduated from Southland High School and served in the Air Force. He married Michelle Ann Shaw on Jan. 25, 1986, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams. He was employed as a maintenance technician with Southern Minnesota Oil Co., and previously with Rochester Petroleum. In November, the Jechs moved from Dexter to Kasson. Troy, an easy, outgoing and friendly person, was an avid outdoorsman, with a special interest in racing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, boating and water sports.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Jech, Kasson; daughters Alysia Jech and Lacey Jech, Kasson; mother and husband, Charlene and Gerald Nelson, Bullhead City, Ariz.; father's wife, Vida Jech, Rochester; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Susan Jech, Austin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jon And Sandra Shaw, Adams, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, aunt and cousins.
Service: 2 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating. Organist will be Joyce Edland; soloist will be Dee Hamilton.
Interment: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Elkton. Honorary bearers will be Brian Howe, David Mead, Brian Shaw, Craig Shaw and Jason Shaw. Casket bearers will be Steve Goucher, Colin Kiefer, Darwin Haney, Glenn Lonergan, Mark Munson and Dean Braaten.
Visitation: Noon to 1:30 today at the church.
