Broadwell—Died at her home, 301 Beech street, April 21st, Miss Josephine Broadwell, aged 76 years. She is survived by one sister, Mrs D.J. Chaffee of Rochester, and one cousin, Mrs. William P Cary of this city. Funeral services were held from her late home Tuesday; interment in Mt. Adnah. Mrs. Broadwell was born in this city and was the daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Broadwell, who were pioneer settlers of this section. They came when the west side of the river was known as Phillipsville, and Miss Broadwell was born near the place where she died, Feb. 26, 1842. Miss Broadwell was one of the oldest members of the Presbyterian society of this city. She had been in poor health for the past 20 years. Her mother died about four years ago.
