"Edwin Neil Lewis passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 24, 2013, in Fillmore, Utah. He was born Aug. 15, 1927, to Edna McNeil Lewis and Ambrose Edwin Lewis. He was born and raised in Benson, Ariz.

He worked at the Benson theater for many years until it closed. He moved with his mother to Fillmore, Utah in 1971. They built the Lewis Trailer Park, which he managed for many years. He was an excellent handyman and could fix almost anything. He was much loved by his extended family. He always had a smile and always thought the best of everyone he met. He was a faithful member of the L.D.S. Church and loved attending the Temple whenever he could.He loved playing bingo and singing at the nursing home. He would brag about winning a banana at bingo.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his only sister, Cora Geneva Searle. He is survived by his nieces and nephews Richard Darnell, Lorena Darnell, Ray Searle and Edna Searle.

His family would like to thank the caring staff at the Extended Care Unit of the Fillmore Medical Center for their special care for him.

His funeral will be Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at the Fillmore 1st and 4th ward building at 11 a.m. He will be buried in Cochise Gardens of Rest in Benson, Ariz., with graveside services on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at 10 a.m."
