Survived by Margaret Gayle Parker of 53 years; daughters, Evanthea Phipps (Roger) of New Orleans and Thalia Wells (Phillip); grandsons, Courtney Phipps and Steven Whitmire (Emily); and great-grandson, Nicholas Whitmire, son of Nicholas K. and Jenny C. Parker.

Member: Greek Orthodox Church and AHEPA. Avid Auburn Alumus and fan. US Army Veteran-Korean War.

Visitation, January 13, 2011 at Southern Memorial. Funeral January 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Greek Orthodox Church. Burial afterwards in Greenwood Cemetery. Donations may be made to Parker-Miaoulas AHEPA Educational Scholarship Fund and Greek Orthodox.
