Warren was a Civil War soldier, stationed on Peddock's Island in Boston Harbor. He married Susan Jane Pratt, who contracted Consumption (Tuberculosis). They moved to Minneapolis which was thought to be a place which would improve her health. Her Mother also went with them, and later returned to live with them. The attached obituary shows that he was a dedicated christian and respected citizen during his time in Minneapolis.
Unfortunately Warren came down with Typhoid Fever and passed away at 31. His wife brought his body back to Quincy for burial. She passed away in Massachusetts at age 30 from consumption, about 17 months after Warren's death. They had no children.
