Mrs. Abbott was one of the pioneers of Scott Township and was an active member of the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society. She celebrated her golden wedding annivesray four years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Abbott; nine children, Christine G., Albert W., Howard H., Clarence F., Mrs. Catherine C. Elliston, Mrs. Rose A. LaValle, Mrs. Lena L. Jeffreys, Mrs. Emma E. Dilliner and Mrs. Clara Louise Millard; two sisters, Catherine and Margaret Jacob of Robinson Township; and 17 grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
