Services were conducted this afternoon at the Linneus United Methodist Church for Claude Leon Clark. The Rev. Larry Linville and the Rev. W. E. Allen officiated at the rites.
Burial was in Reynolds Cemetery, Milan, under direction of Wright Funeral Home, Linneus.
Mr. Clark, who was 96, died Saturday at his home near Linneus.
He was born Sept. 3, 1873, near Linneus, the son of Zachariah and Jane Fore Clark.
Mr. Clark was married to Gertrude Brown on Feb. 5, 1903. She died on July 24, 1912.
On June 9, 1914, he was married to Eva Ware. She died on March 27, 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Elizabeth Clark, of the home, Mrs. Lorene Phillps, St. Joseph; a son, J. Nolan Clark, Linneus; two grandchildren, Mrs. Marilyn Henry, South Bend, Ind., Robert Clark, Linneus; and a great grandson, Lyndon Clark Henry, South Bend, Ind.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
